Memory Care at Home
Memory loss doesn't have to mean leaving home.
Dementia is the number-one reason families give up on home. It doesn't have to be. With the right one-on-one care — built on the Montessori Method — she can live fully and stay home, even now.
You may be noticing…
The things families tell us, in their own words.
If these sound familiar, you're not alone — and noticing them doesn't mean the story is over. It means the care around her needs to change, not the address.
Everyone will tell you a facility is inevitable.
Our name says otherwise: live fully and stay home — even with memory loss.
Memory care is where our promise is tested hardest, and it's where we've invested most. We were the first company in the United States to fully adopt the Montessori Method of Senior Care — and it changes what a day with dementia can look like.
Built around what she can still do and love.
Most dementia care manages what's been lost. The Montessori Method works from the other direction — engagement, roles, and routine built on remaining strengths. Here is what it looks like in a real day:
Purposeful hands
Setting the table, folding warm laundry, watering the herbs on the windowsill — real tasks with real purpose, matched to her abilities. Doing, not just watching.
Her story, kept alive
Music from her era, photographs with names, the recipes she made for forty years — her identity woven into every visit, so she is met as a whole person.
Rhythm and calm
Predictable routines, one familiar caregiver, gentle transitions — a day shaped to reduce confusion instead of managing it after it arrives.
What families tell us they notice
- ✓Calmer, gentler afternoons
- ✓More engagement, more smiles
- ✓Fewer hard moments — and softer ones when they come
- ✓She’s eating better, sleeping better
- ✓“She seems like herself again.”
- ✓A family that can finally breathe
Every person's journey with memory loss is different; we describe what families commonly share with us, not a promised outcome.
The late afternoons: Caring Touch +
Anxious, restless evenings are often the hardest part of memory loss. Caring Touch pairs with Montessori Care — calm, hands-on comfort and human connection when the day grows long.
What we are — and what we're not
We are non-medical, one-on-one care: engagement, daily living, companionship, and presence. We work alongside her physicians and any clinical team — we never replace them.
And if her needs ever grow beyond what home care can safely provide, we'll say so honestly and help your family plan the next step well. That promise — honesty about the whole road — is part of the care.

Questions families ask us
Does she need a diagnosis before we start?
No. Many families come to us while they’re still finding answers. We build care around what we observe together — her routines, her abilities, her days — and we adjust as you learn more.
Is it too late for this to help?
Engagement meets people wherever they are. The activities change as abilities change — but presence, calm, music, and touch reach people at every stage.
What about safety — wandering, falls, the stove?
One-on-one presence is itself the strongest safety measure. We also look at the home together during your free visit and help you make it safer for the way she actually lives in it.
